There is a line that all of us have used many times over when visiting with family, cousins, friends...
If only I had a voice recorder to be able to preserve these stories to pass down to my children.
The stories begins, the “do you remember when”, “who is my grandfather’s mother, “when did my Dad come to America”, and so many, many more questions. Well I was so fortunate to be asked if I were interested to document what I remember on a video and preserve in the archives at the Arab American National Museum in Dearborn Michigan. And better yet, we can continue to add to our stories as we learn more.
Each of us has an interesting story to tell, and we are excited to have this project become a part of all of our legacies. So enjoy listening to this video, and I hope you will consider creating one as well.
