Salimi Janna Hanna In Kfeir, Lebanon
George Hanna recently ran across this picture that he thought he had lost of his Great Sitty - his dad's mother, Salimi Janna Hanna. She is the Great, Great Sitty of Stephanie, Bruce and Greg Hanna as well as Phil, Greg, Randy and Tammy Scott Sadd.
Salimi was a sweet lady. George was raised by his mom along with Salimi and he has fond memories of her making flat bread, flipping it around until it got to be the right size and then she would flip it on the hot half moon shaped steel drums over the burning wood. He also remembers her picking grapes and then putting them into a big vat, getting in with her bare feet and stomping them to get the juice to make wine.
What a great find George, thanks for sharing her picture with us!
