On Sunday, May 17, 2020, five days after our dear cousin, Charlotte Sadd Lechlak passed away, George wrote...
Good morning everyone. Hope you all have a blessed 🙏🏼 day. Couple of words about Charlotte. We go way back into the late 40-50s. After coming over from Kfeir in 1947, we attended the Kfeirian Reunion in Toledo in 1948 where Uncle Phillip lived. He and George Sadd (Charlotte's father) were good friends, so we visited them. Charlotte was a little girl and we played together.I couldn’t speak English, so she would help me.
Last year, she said she was going through one of her photo albums and found this picture of me and another young guy who neither of us remember who he was. That is me on the left in the tie.
When in California several years ago, I visited Larry and Charlotte and they took me to tour their printing business. Going to miss that Charlotte. R. I. P. young lady.
In 2000, George and Gloria Hanna traveled to Lebanon and visited Kfeir during their visit. Below are a few pictures from that trip.
From June 9-18, 2019 George Hanna along with an additional 17 family and friends traveled to Lebanon with the National Federation of Syrian Lebanese Americans. Below are videos that George took during the trip.
