This year, we are requesting donations for a direct support campaign. As mentioned in the earlier letter of June 2021, there is an urgent need for food in Kfeir at this time. The news carries daily stories of food and water shortages and an immense lack of available resources of all kinds.
We have created the Kfeir Relief Fund to help families that live in Kfeir, who have little to no available resources and partnered with a local businessman to ensure that your donations are appropriately distributed. Food is being bought, boxed and distributed directly to the families in need. We are aware of how every dollar is being spent and encouraged by our efforts.
To date, 20 families in Kfeir have received these boxes of food and many more will be provided for in the near future. To read more about the dire state of Lebanon, take a look at page 5 of the newsletter for an article written by our Vice President, Joseph Peck.
Please consider donating the funds that you would have spent to attend the reunion, (average registration fee is $150) as a donation to the Kfeir Relief Fund. The Reunion opened the Kfeir Relief Fund with $1000, which was immediately matched by an anonymous member of the Kfeirian family. As always, you have a choice. Your gift may be designated to the Kfeir Relief Fund, the General Reunion Fund or the Scholarship Fund. If you are able to give more, we are grateful for your generosity.
Your gift will be used as you direct. Making your gift in honor of a family member or friend or in memory of loved ones offers you a wonderful way to honor them and support the reunion. Donors will be recognized on our website, Kfeir.com, on the 89th Reunion page.
Your gift will actively help us keep the dream of our grandparents strong and help us reach our goal of 100 years of Kfeirian Reunions. Thank you for considering our request to help support our beloved Kfeirians, the reunion or the scholarship fund.
Donating is easy, simply click on the link below and complete the form.

Plans are underway for the 90th reunion to be held in Huntington, WV at the Double Tree by Hilton on September 2-4, 2022. We will bring back old traditions to create new memories for those in attendance.
If you have any questions, please email reunion@kfeir.com.
Sherry Mickel Parrish, President, Kfeirian Reunion Foundation
Greetings Kfeirian Cousins,
Your Board of Trustees is busy making plans for the 2021, 89th Kfeirian Reunion. As we did last year, we will gather “virtually” via Zoom on Labor Day Weekend. We are working on the details to bring you a fun and rich virtual experience and in the weeks ahead, we will share the specific information you need to join the “Virtual 2021 Reunion”. If you have a computer, IPAD or smart phone, you can easily participate in the comfort of your own home.
Our primary concern is the safety of our Kfeirian Reunion Foundation members, placing everyone’s safety above all. We hope that many of our Kfeirian families will participate together over Labor Day weekend and plan activities around our Kfeirian heritage.
Planning for the 90th Kfeirian Reunion to be held on September 2-4, 2022 is underway. We are confirmed at the recently remodeled Double Tree by Hilton in Huntington, WV, for a special, in-person, reunion experience! We will bring back old traditions to create new memories for those in attendance.
This year, we are asking for member donations for a direct support campaign. We are aware that there is a need for food in Kfeir at this time. We have created the Kfeir Relief Fund to help many of approximately 65 families that live in Kfeir. As our funds will be limited and we want to do the greatest good with what we have, we will be working with the Kfeirian management of the Village to ensure that your donations are appropriately distributed. Food will be distributed directly to the families in need.
Please consider donating the funds that you would have spent to attend the reunion, (average registration fee is $150) as a donation to the relief fund. The Reunion has opened the Kfeir Relief Fund with $1000, which has been immediately matched by an anonymous member of the Kfeirian family. As always, you have a choice. Your gift may be designated to the Kfeir Relief Fund, the General Reunion Fund or the Scholarship Fund. Your gift will only be used as you direct. Making your gift in honor of a family member or friend or in memory of loved ones offers you a wonderful way to honor them and support the reunion.
If you are able to give more, we are grateful for your generosity. A gift in any amount will be greatly appreciated and put to good use. Donors will be recognized on our website, Kfeir.com, on the 89th Reunion page. Your gift will actively help us keep the dream of our grandparents strong and help us reach our goal of 100 years of Kfeirian Reunions.
Thank you for considering our request to support our beloved Kfeirians, the reunion or the scholarship fund. Donating is easy, simply click on the link below and complete the form.
