From the David K. Rehr, PhD’s Post – A great conversation with George Mason University – Schar School of Policy and Government summer students with Miriam Swydan Erickson in the course “Successful Leadership Principles.” Miriam offered the class practical experience of leadership lessons she has learned throughout her career. She was great and I think almost every student in the course asked at least one question. Miriam brought her academic training to the class as well, having graduated from Georgetown Law and holding a certificate in Women’s Leadership from the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. Thank you Miriam for helping our students be well prepared for future success. It was terriffic!

Thank you David, for asking me to speak to your class! I was honored to advise students at the beginning of their careers about how to demonstrate leadership in the realm of Public Policy!
